This ‘Stranger Things’ Actress Is Being Compared to Liv Ullmann and Meryl Streep by Winona Ryder, but if It Is Not Millie Bobby Brown Then Who Is It?
Stranger Things season 4 is easily the most awaited thing on Netflix right now. The last season amassed over 40 million+ views in just the first 7 days of the season drop. The latest season is expected to have even more views, apparent from the fan craze for the upcoming season. While the new season is less than a week away from its release of 27th May’22; the stars including Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink are promoting the show at several interviews and talk shows. In one such interview, Winona Ryder, who plays Joyce Byers in the series, compared an actress from Stranger Things to Meryl Streep, and no it’s not Millie Bobby Brown.

Talking about Sadie aka Max, Winona said, “Sadie is like Liv Ullmann, she’s going to be like Meryl Streep.” Sadie too has previously spoken about Winona in a 2017 HungerTV interview, “My mum had seen her in everything. She’s this 80s and 90s icon. But to me she’s just Winona.”
Speaking of Millie, who bore an eerie resemblance to Winona because of her season 4 wig, the 50-year-old actress said, “It was wild seeing her like that. When I was that age, I had dyed-black [hair], goth going on. But there is definitely a resemblance.”

Max was a new comer to the Stranger Things clan. Being exposed to a difficult childhood made Max more rugged than most kids her age. She became an integral part of the gang because of her solid ideas and her strength to execute them.
Sadie beautifully performed as Max, a kid who feels alienated in a new town, to a kid who acts a leader to her friends in need. Max is as sensitive as she is strong. This was seen when she mourned Billy even after his continued ill treatment of her.
