Many of you may have come across a plethora of horror movies and petrifying horrible shark gigs, but none would perhaps trigger your anxiety as sharply as Netflix’s newest addition to the genre. The most important virtue of the streaming giant is that it has something to offer under each subgenre. And for horrors, the recently added film, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged is here to give you some real hard times.
So if you are up for some claustrophobia and some real fun with the sharks, this is the movie for you. Helmed by Johannes Robert, the horror fiction observes two girls along with their company excavating the deeps of the earth to satisfy their curiosity. Well, little did they know they will rather become a satisfactory extravaganza for the sharks.
Chumming up the Netflix charts, the sharkastic sequel to 47 Meters Down movie stands at 4th rank in Netflix’s top 10 charts. While the previous cast does not make an appearance, screaming fishes, albino sharks, and blood-curling death scenes make it all worth the while. It is perhaps what we could call when The Descents meet the Jaws, precisely serving the subgenre as the ritual. And ever since Netflix bingers have had a hold of it, the Twitter world is having a field trip. Fans come up to explain how the movie is a positive anxiety-inducing experience for them.

One of the fans rightly appreciated its unexpected jump scares.

However, the best compliment any horror movie could ever receive came up when a fan wrote, “I was at the edge of my bed all the time.” Even though not an ideal situation to watch a horror movie, it sure came as a big accomplishment for the creators.
47 meters down Uncaged had me on the edge of my bed
