Obviously, one of the telltale signs of someone leeching off your Netflix account is the creation of an additional profile. However, there are others out there who are more careful with their usage. In that case, you can utilize this option that Netflix has.
How to check if someone else is using your account:
- Go to the Netflix home page.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click Your Profile and go to Account.
- Click on Profile & Parental Controls and select the desired profile.
- Select Viewing Activity.

But, if you have, or just want to double-check, here are the steps you need to follow.
How to see recent streaming activity on Netflix?
- Go to the Netflix home page.
- Sign in to Your Account.
- Click on Your Profile from the top right corner of the screen.
- Click on Account and click on Recent device streaming activity.
This shows you which devices your Netflix account has been used on, along with their IP address.
If you do not recognize the IP address, follow these steps to remove the device from your Netflix account.
How to remove an unwanted device from your Netflix account?

- Go to the Netflix home page.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click on Your Profile on the top right corner of the screen.
- Click on Account, followed by Manage Download Devices.
- This shows you a list of all devices that have download access from your account. Click on Remove Device to have it removed.
Another option that allows you to stay safe is to change your password and only give access to people you trust.
