Harry & Meghan Director rejects Palace’s claims of not contacting them

Despite the controversies, some recent developments have proved otherwise against the Royal Family. The Director of Harry & Meghan broke it to Vanity Fair that she did approach the series with more perspectives than just two royals. Liz Garbus claims that all of the rumors that have been flying in the air widening the gap between the families are all “to discredit us.” “By discrediting us they can discredit the show,” Garbus argued insisting that the team did reach out to the Royal Family for more details.

The director further expressed that she wished to cover even a broader aspects of the “historical issues”. Major angles that she thought of touching upon were racism, colonialism, and white supremacy. However, due to a lack of cooperation, she could not execute her plans.
