Henry Cavill is going to appear as Geralt of Rivia for the last time. His performance as this iconic character has won him a huge amount of fan following. However, before leaving the show, the British actor opened up about his last run as Geralt in the upcoming season.
The Witcher Season 1 is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s two short story collections. The second season is based on the first novel in the main saga, Blood of Elves. Now, it’s safe to say that Season 3 will follow the plot of the second book: Time of Contempt. Before the release of the third season, the cast of the show talked to Netflix’s Tudum. During their conversation, Cavill revealed how his last run with Ciri will be.

In the third season of the show, Geralt is not going to invoke the dragon’s lair. He is going to enter the lion’s den. “Now, there is a real threat,” said the English actor on Netflix Tudum as he talked about the degree to which Cirilla will now be in jeopardy. Adding more clarity to it, the Enola Holmes actor said, it would no longer be theoretical. In fact, Ciri will be in real practical trouble. Ensuring the dangerous adventures Cavill hinted at in the next season, their characters will be walking in the lion’s den on every step of the way.
As fans are eagerly waiting for their favorite actor to play the character for the last time, they can not wait for the series to land on the streaming giant.

Ahead of the premiere of the third season, the 40-year-old actor’s pictures made fans extremely emotional. However, not only fans but the cast of the show also are also sad because of the sudden departure of their co-star.
His trusted bard, Jaskier, portrayed by Joey Batey, once revealed Cavill carried the show on his own shoulder. Batey also revealed he had learned a lot from his co-star, Henry Cavill. His on-screen love interest, Yennefer, portrayed by Anya Chalotra, also expressed her sadness over Cavill’s news for the show.
