The woman in the house across the street from the girl in the window: how did the daughter die?
The events leading up to Elizabeth’s death unfolded when Anna convinces Douglas, a psychiatrist at FBI, to take her daughter to work. Douglas let the child accompany him to an interrogation room. As weird as that sounds, Douglas later leaves for some work, leaving Elizabeth alone with a cannibal called Massacre Mike.

After Douglas left, the door locked behind him and the officers couldn’t open it in time. As a result, the criminal murdered and devoured the child. The film portrayed quite a macabre ending for the child, and some viewers found the scene distasteful. However, they didn’t play the scene on screen. The viewers found it implausible for an organization like FBI to have such fewer countermeasures. They didn’t restrain the criminal carefully nor could they get the door open.
