The Woman in Cabin 10 is an upcoming psychological thriller film directed by Simon Stone, with a screenplay by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse. It is adapted from Ruth Ware’s best-selling 2016 novel, which has captivated readers with its tense, edge-of-your-seat storyline. Netflix recently gave fans their first glimpse of the film during its Next on Netflix event, which showcased Keira Knightley from Pride & Prejudice and Guy Pearce, known for L.A. Confidential.

The story centers on a journalist who witnesses what appears to be a passenger being thrown overboard from a luxury cruise ship. But when she raises the alarm, the crew and other passengers dismiss her claim, insisting that everyone on board is accounted for. Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, she risks everything—even her own safety—as she digs for the truth. Netflix has been investing heavily in psychological thrillers, both original productions and licensed titles, and The Woman in Cabin 10 seems to plan a potential expansion too.
