‘The Witcher’ Star MyAnna Buring Pens Down a Heartwarming Goodbye to the Show

The Witcher brought the death of several recurring and new characters in its latest season. Though fans knew the Continent cannot escape bloodshed for a long time, Season 3 Volume 2 did something unforeseen. The Thanedd coup took place, which resulted in the demise of elves and mages. This battle also gave fans insight into the fury of the Rectoress of Aretuza, Tissaia, who unleashed her ultimate power to save her home from enemies but killed herself. Now, weeks after the release of that special sequence, the portrayer MyAnna Buring has bid farewell to this fantasy world with a beautiful message.

Buring recently took to her Instagram page to share a behind-the-scenes shot with fans. The picture showed the actress standing amid the fire surrounding Aretuza, reminding one of her remarkable performance that brought so much depth to the character. Accompanying the image was the caption that had a heartfelt message for her character, Tissaia, and The Witcher team she worked with all these years.

The Swedish star thanked all the cast and crew members for making her contribution to the show possible. Channeling her inner mage for the last time, she left them with “huge love and chaos”. She also showed her love for the sorceress Tissaia she played for three seasons. It was clear through her post that the 43-year-old will always have a huge place in her heart for The Witcher character.

Buring acknowledged the efforts made by the creative team in order to truly flesh out the brilliance of her character as she thanked them for their work.
