The Witcher Season 3 Volume 2 broke fans’ hearts. It was the first time when viewers saw Henry Cavill falling so badly since the show started. Seeing him lying in the sea almost dead left his millions of fans around the globe weeping. In episode six, viewers saw his character Geralt getting into a battle with the evil sorcerer Vilgefortz. But this time he suffered near-fatal wounds and Yennefer took him to the dryads for healing. In this complete chaos, the White Wolf lost Ciri, and as far as he knows, the emperor of Nilfgaard took away his daughter, which will take him into the war zone in season 4.

Season 3 kicked off War on the Continent, killing some major characters in the series. The truths of the past have become known to the world, which would only complicate things more. But the only thing that this season promised is Geralt will do anything to save Ciri and get back to his family.

The mutant who has never melded into the political matter of the continent before decided to pick a side and go after Nilfgaard. Though he has still not recovered properly, fans saw his wrath in the finale. Now this monster slayer is ready to unleash hell upon the people because his daughter is finally separated from him.

Like Yennefer said, “This was inevitable, we fight” so season 4 will put them all on the warpath where Geralt will face much bigger enemies. In fact, he has already sent the alarm through the kingdom that he will free Ciri no matter how big their walls are or how huge armies Emhyr has. Unfortunately, Henry Cavill will not be the one who takes on Nilfgaard, but this opportunity would have been great.

How Henry Cavill could be the best Geralt in The Witcher Season 4? 

The turn of events that took place in season 3 has proved that Henry Cavill is the best Geralt that the audience has ever seen. The upcoming season will follow the origin story more closely and the former Superman is familiar with the books. So this would have brought much authenticity to the portrayal of this iconic character.

The creators, however, have pointed out that the show will put Freya Allan’s Ciri in the center instead of Geralt. She seems to have lost her faith in her family and calls herself Falka now. So it is only a matter of time before fans will get to know how things turn out for this family who parted ways after the big fight.
