‘The Witcher’ Season 4 Wrapped: Remembering How Henry Cavill Celebrated Those With Special Gifts
The Continent has wound up its activities for this season’s return to the Witcherverse. But unlike the last three wrap-ups, this time, Netflix’s The Witcher is missing the Geralt fans grew to love—Henry Cavill. Though time has softened the blow of his departure from the monster-hunting saga, the close of season 4 felt like a nostalgic spark with a brief, flickering reminder of the once-beloved journey now behind the fans.
Rewinding from the upcoming installment to those classics that need no introduction, here is a look back at the Cavill-coded celebrations that made those season finales even more unforgettable.

The Witcher's upcoming installment is all ready to charge back in action with a new Geralt, Liam Hemsworth, with filming already concluded. However, despite the absence of Henry Cavill from this season onward, the memories keep haunting like there is no end. During the wrap-up of the sophomore season of Netflix’s fan-favorite fantasy run, Cavill thanked the cast and crew with commemorative gifts.
Paul Bullion shared a look at the present from up close on X, which appeared to be a replica of Geralt’s Witcher medallion, a White Wolf. It resembled the same present he gifted his team during season 1’s conclusion. However, Cavill’s gift-giving was not conjured from the Witcherverse’s magic but was more of a tradition he has kept alive since Man of Steel, through Batman vs. Superman, into Justice League, and beyond.
Although Cavill was not around to keep the custom ongoing on The Continent with his leave from The Witcher, another starlet, learned it by heart and put her own twist on it, Freya Allan.

Freya Allan has truly learned it from the best, be it sorcery or carrying a heritage, and yes, it is none other than Henry Cavill. According to Redanian Intelligence, The Witcher has finally wrapped up its filming after 130 work days through 7 months. And to make the farewell unforgettable, Allan, whose Ciri takes center stage this season, upheld the Cavill-led tradition of gifting with portraits for the Rats squad.
Allan took to her Instagram handle just days back to share portrait sketches drawn by her of her Rats co-stars, including Misle, Iskra, Giselher, Reef, Kayleigh, and Asse. Sending her love to her co-stars, Allan also called the fourth season “the most special” one so far for the show. So, even with the wrap-up call, a look back at the Cavill tradition was bound to happen, and big thanks to Allan for keeping it alive and holding it all together, even in his absence.
