The Witcher’s penchant for medieval imagery is far from over. According to a report from the Redanian Intelligence citing local sources, the current filming segment of the fourth season has brought the production to England. Allegedly, filming is underway at the historic Cotehele Estate in Cornwall, England, with plans to continue until May 15.
Local reports have noted the presence of numerous Netflix trucks at the location, indicating ongoing production of the fourth season. Additionally, it appears Netflix has enlisted locals to portray soldiers in this segment. While details of the plot remain undisclosed, the crew's choice of breathtaking filming locations, consistent with previous seasons, suggests an immersive experience for viewers. This anticipation is only heightened by the secrecy surrounding the production.
Considering that the crew has returned to British soil for filming, it is probable that the fourth season will continue where the third left off, especially since the crew also journeyed to England during the previous season.

Filming for the third season of The Witcher commenced in March 2022 at Laghi di Fusine, a picturesque lake in Northern Italy. From there, the production team journeyed to Slovenia, capturing scenes at Pregjama Castle and the Nanos Plateau, before moving on to Croatia's Zala Stara Baška beach. The Welsh landscapes of Nash Point Lighthouse and Three Cliffs Bay also served as backdrops. Continuing their globe-trotting adventures, the team eventually arrived in England for an extensive shoot.
Locations in England included Jolly Farm, Virginia Water Lake, Guildford Cathedral, and Strawberry Hill Pond, with additional sequences filmed at Longcross Studios in Surrey. Interestingly, this was not the first time the world of The Witcher set foot on British soil; all of season 2 was also shot in the UK, encompassing locations such as the Isle of Skye, the Lake District, and Bourne Wood in Farnham. With the fourth season once again unfolding in familiar territory, it's clear that echoes of the past will resonate in this new chapter.
