The most handsome, utterly determined, and a connoisseur of The Witcher lore, Henry Cavill has had his last moments lived on the set of the Netflix fantasy series, sending everyone on a nostalgic ride. His compelling portrayal of Geralt of Rivia, seemingly humble behavior on the set, and charming personality would certainly make anyone feel his loss on a show that Cavill single-handedly led to its success. As season 3 is unwrapping, with the first volume already streaming on the OTT platform; Freya Allan, Joey Batey, and Anya Chalotra are doing rounds of interviews, revealing their favorite moment with the British actor. 

Following the queue, in a recent interview with Stream Wars, The Witcher stars including Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), Joey Batey (Jaskier), and Freya Allan (Princess Cirilla), shared their favorite moments with the fan-favorite monster-hunting butcher in season 3. While for Chalotra, it is a scene wherein they start laughing in the middle of an argument– “we had a scripted argument, but that very quickly became a laughter.”

Freya Allan notably nods with her, stating that she loves “that part of their relationship,” before talking about her favorite scene with Cavill. Speaking of Princess Cirilla, Allan’s character finally gets to fight with Cavill this season, and that, unsurprisingly, is Allan’s favorite scene. She states she has “been waiting to fight with him.” Batey funnily adds, “I think he’s jealous.” Allan also reveals that getting to use Geralt’s sword is really “cool.”

While no one can stop singing praises of the actor, including his stunt director, for the Viscount of Lettenhove, it is Cavill’s determination that he will remember the most.

For anyone who would call Cavill’s Geralt a “hammer,” a binding force for the family, saying goodbye would certainly be the hardest thing. And every time Batey speaks of Cavill, his voice carries a depth of sadness for his friend’s departure. As he speaks of his favorite final scene, Cavill’s final fight scene, Batey is all praises for the White Wolf. Jaskier’s character alum reveals that even though he had a cold, he was “deeply entrenched” in it.

Batey further said that even though Cavill was suffering badly, he would never sit down saying, if “my team does not get to sit, I don’t get to sit.” According to the 34-year-old English actor, “that determination” will stay with him for a long time.
