The newest remake of Will Smith starrer Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is already on to its second season. The series was Smith’s very first opportunity in the entertainment industry before he went on to become an A-list Hollywood star. But the actor is still known for this show thanks to its comedy-filled plot and a great cast.

The original series first ran from 1990-1994. This year the modern remake of the classic show was released giving it a more dramatic transformation. The first season was released on February 13, with 10 episodes. Considering its success, the second season is ready for release now. The date of which is now confirmed.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air released its remake on the Peacock network. After it managed to harbor fans of the original series, it is now ready with its second season to release on 23 Feb 2023. The show casts Jabari Banks, Coco Jones, Olly Sholotan, and Cassandra Freeman amongst others in the lead.

The show will have most of its original characters returning for the second season, with a new and continued storyline. The series is supposed to be a re-imagination of the original, in a modern era. The original series showcases young Smith who moves into his uncle’s home in Bel Air. Coming from a middle-class family, he finds himself adjusting to his rich relatives’ household, dealing in his hilarious ways.

Meanwhile, the latest remake is about the main character Will who has a similar storyline but is more into the drama genre than a sitcom style.  The series has become one of the most-watched ones on the Peacock network. “Life is a series of choices”, narrates Will during the teaser of the second season.

Up for the second season, we can see Will’s growing brotherly closeness with Carlton. While Hillary takes charge of her influencer world, and how it affects her relationship with Jazz. Meanwhile, Phil and Viv learn to balance their marriage as they concentrate on their ambitions. Maybe Will Smith will someday guest star on the show.
