The Turkish Fantasy series ‘Midnight at the Pera Palace’ opens a door of the palace to 1919, what to expect from the exciting thriller?
It’s time to get lost in the beautiful sights of Turkey via Netflix. Karga Seven Pictures Turkey and RED ARROW Studios company are bringing together a television series on Netflix, titled, Midnight at the Pera Palace. In 2021, Netflix had officially confirmed the series at a conference in Istanbul. Now, after one year, all the filming and production have completed, and the Turkish fantasy series is ready to hit the screen.
Midnight at the Pera Palace is an adventure, fun, and fantasy series by Emre Sahin, produced by Emre Sahin, Kelly McPherson, and Sam Anzel for television, and written by Elif Usman. It was inspired by Charles King’s award-winning non-fiction book of the same name. The series will explore the theme of time travel and has been filmed in multiple locations in Turkey. Thus, we will get to drink in the scenic beauty and culture of Turkey.

Premise and trailer
Esra, played by Hazal Kaya, is a young journalist traveling to a grand hotel to write a piece about the hotel. This hotel was a palace before renovation. During her research about the hotel, Esra learns that door no. 411 of the palace connects to 1919 when she travels back in time. What will happen when she enters a bygone era?
