The Time Pete Davidson Went All Out on Ariana Grande for Dating Him as a “Distraction”
Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande’s relationship was a whirlwind of emotions. From getting engaged within a month to leaving sappy comments on each other’s posts, and then breaking off within weeks of being engaged, it was a rollercoaster. Following his escapade with the Grammy-winning artist, Pete Davidson got a burn when his former lady love claimed to not know him and to have dated him as a distraction. The comedian had a comeback for that, of course.

Now with the stand-up comic attending the MET Gala with Kim K, and sitting courtside with Emily Ratjkowski, it is going to be very hard for Ariana Grande to say, “I don’t know him.” And while he may not have dated all these beautiful women just to clap back at Ariana Grande but he definitely took time in his Netflix comedy special titled Pete Davidson: Alive From New York to roast Ariana Grande a shade of brown.
When Pete Davidson did not hold back against Ariana Grande
Dating wonderful women such as Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, and Phoebe Dynevor is any man’s dream. And if you add the context of said man being a comedian, then it’s an entire career. But despite the ample jokes he could have made, Pete Davidson remained relatively mature to all of his exes. That is until Ariana Grande. He did not hold back any punches when it came to the singer in his comedy special, in which he said, “If I spray painted myself brown and hopped on the cover of Vogue magazine, and just started s***ting on my ex.”
The SNL star was referring to Grande’s statement to Vogue magazine, where the Grammy-winning artist said she dated him as a “distraction“. The statement is quite ironic, given that Ariana Grande has an entire track named after him.

And even mentions him in Thank You, Next, which is a shout-out to her exes. The stand-up comic said that had he done the same thing, the Internet would have been quick to deem him “canceled.”

“But you imagine if I did that s***, if I was just like, ‘Yeah, just f***ed her because I was bored, and then Fortnite came out,” said Davidson. Apart from this iconic character break on his comedy special, Davidson has played the good ex-boyfriend and has wished Ariana Grande love, on countless occasions.
