The wait is finally over! Laurie Nunn is back with the most-loved teen comedy-drama, Sex Education. It has been two years since the third installment of the young adult Netflix series came out. With incredibly positive reviews and a whopping 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, season 3 set the stage for excitement about the upcoming season. Not only did it explore many stigmatized sexual identities, but it also shed light on complicated relationship issues. Apart from that, the on-and-off relationship between Maeve and Otis also became a hook for keeping people engaged in the show. 

After a lot of anticipation, Netflix recently posted the trailer of the upcoming show captioning it as “Get your tissues ready, let’s finish together”. The OTT giant also revealed the release date of the series and wrote “Sex Education’s final season is coming September 21”. Within two hours, the video garnered over 400K views in addition to numerous fan responses on Twitter. In the trailer, Otis and Maeve, who were in a long-distance relationship, were seen dealing with a sexual communication barrier. 

The entire Moordale Secondary School became increasingly aware of the importance of “Sex Education”. Despite being the final season, the trailer promises to surpass all the boundaries of love, drama, and sexual exploration. There are also many new faces in the cast of the coming-of-age series, including Emmy Award winner Dan Levy, Lisa McGrillis, and Thaddea Graham. Graham is going to play a rival to the OG sex counselor, Otis’ mother, played by Gillian Anderson, who recently signed a first look deal with Netflix.

The trailer caused a major buzz on Twitter and fans took to the platform to express their excitement about the upcoming release. Fans also posted their observations from the trailer and guessed what the last season could unfold. 

Fans interesting response to the Trailer of Sex Education season 4

While many actors including Simone Ashley and Patricia Allison have taken their departure from the fan-loved show, fans are happy to see the Barbie ensemble back to their roots. Fans even went on to say that the trio of Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, and Connor Swindells are the strongest players in the show, making it Netflix’s top 3. They also expressed their disappointment for not seeing some of the old cast members in the comments. 

While some showed their concern about censoring the project, others dished about the existing love triangle between Maeve, Otis, and Ruby on the show. And from what it seems, fans still want to see Otis and Ruby end up together.

Despite being a little startled by the caption, fans were sure that this season was going to break all records. They expressed their sentiments with their replies and said how they could not wait for the show to air on the small screens. 

Considering fans’ positive response to the trailer, it is safe to say that the fourth and final season of Sex Education is going to be the top show of 2023. And who knows, it might even surpass the current buzz of Netflix’s One Piece.
