According to Tudum, The Endless Family from The Sandman season 1 on Netflix is set to return with Kirby as Death, Mason Alexander Park as Desire, and Donna Preston as Despair. Season 2 will introduce Dream’s other siblings: Adrian Lester, who will play Destiny, Esme Creed-Miles will portray Delirium, and Barry Sloane will star as The Prodigal. The Sandman season 2 also includes Ruairi O’Connor, Freddie Fox, and Clive Russell.

According to Tudum, The Sandman season 2 will be released in two parts. The first volume is scheduled to drop on Netflix on July 3, followed by the next on July 24. The streaming sensation also rolled out pictures from the second and final installment, featuring the Endless Family in their element. Tom Sturridge also sent a video dispatch from The Sandman set, offering insights into what awaits the second season.

As per Allan Heinberg, The Sandman season 2 branches out across time and space. The new installment will explore “the underworld of Hades and Persephone, the courtly realm of Faerie, ancient Greece, Elizabethan England, [and] the French Revolution.” While a lot more awaits The Sandman season 2, fans will have to stay tuned to the streamer until the final season unravels the tomb of mysteries.
