When we talk about the talented musicians and singers today, one cannot forget the 20-year-old sensation Billie Eilish. The Happier Than Ever hit-maker is one of the most successful artists of our generation. Eilish has reached great heights at the mere age of 20 and carved a niche out for herself in the music industry. The Lovely singer enjoys a massive fan following worldwide and performs various concerts throughout the world. However, previously during one of her concerts, Eilish was spotted wearing a black tap.
Over the years, we have seen Billie Eilish be very experimental with her dressing style. Time and again, the Bad Guy singer has surprised the audience with her outfits. While Billie has done a number of concerts, why was she wearing the black tape during the Kuala Lumpur concert? Was it a part of the singer’s unique fashion statement?
Why was Billie Eilish wearing a Black tape during her concert?
Earlier this year in August, Billie Eilish’s Kuala Lumpur concert attracted a lot of heat. Fans were extremely unhappy over the management and the seating arrangements. While Billie’s performance was electrifying, the fans were quick enough to notice a “cactus-like black tape” that Billie wore across her shins. However, it was not a part of Eilish’s outfit, as some of us might have assumed.
It was actually a kinesiology tape. The Kinesiology tape or the K-Tape is used to aid muscle movement. It is a thin flexible tape that helps relieve pain, reduce swelling and inflammation as well. However, the singer was not going through any such problems. Rather, it was a preventive measure to provide support to muscles and joints.
K-Tape also helps stabilize the muscle in the shin. And as we all know, Eilish is an energetic performer and often jumps around the stage during her performances.
What were your guesses about the black tape? Feel free to let us know in the comments below.
