Much to the delight of Formula 1 and golf enthusiasts, The Netflix Cup is bringing together race-car drivers and golfers in a one-of-a-kind show. It will feature professional F1 racers seen in their hit documentary series Drive to Survive, as well as PGA TOUR golfers who starred in their Full Swing series. The result will be broadcast live as the players will go head-to-head to earn the title of the best golf player.
Beginning on 14th November, the matches are set to take place in the bustling city of Las Vegas. With Squid Games: The Challenge also projected to drop in November, this competition has come as a treat for those who love a good game show. In the trailer, the streaming giant also seems to have introduced a new category to arrive on its platform called Netflix Sports.
Besides this new endeavor, the growing company has also revealed plans to continue expanding in this unexpected way.

Earlier this week, Netflix announced its plans to establish several venues under the moniker Netflix House. These spaces will encompass a range of immersive experiences centered around the themes of their numerous shows. From retail to dining, the company plans on bringing it all together under one roof. With plans to open these in 2025 in some cities in the USA, it has already begun work on the exciting project.
Clearly, the SAG-AFTRA strikes and the backlash directed at it have not slowed the multi-billion-worth giant down. With the upcoming The Netflix Cup, they are only furthering their horizons in the world of entertainment. It recently placed bets on the live sports broadcast and the physical locations could change its future. If these pan out, there will be no stopping Netflix for sure.
