There’s a surprise for all the dedicated fans of the teen rom-com film To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, our favorite Anna Cathcart who played the role of Kitty Song Covey will reprise the role once again. Netflix had announced on October 18th, 2021 there will be a series on Kitty named “XO Kitty”, which will follow the twist and difficulties of love relationships in Kitty’s life.

Kitty Song Covey is loved by all, so fans are really charged to hear this spin-off, focussing on the younger sibling of Lara Jean, the protagonist of Netflix’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, inspired by the bestselling book of Jenny Han. Kitty is a bit of an icon and loved by all, even before the new series is released.

All you need to know about Netflix’s XO Kitty

Netflix has already announced that there will be ten episodes in XO Kitty with a brief clip on Twitter. Anna Cathcart explains, “I’ll bet you thought the story was over, that there wouldn’t be any more letters, but there’s one Covey sister — some might call her the favorite — whose love story is just beginning.

Every episode of Netflix’s XO Kitty will be of 30 minutes. According to Netflix, Kitty knows all about love. Our little teen matchmaker moves half away across the world just to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend. She already has an assumption that she knows it all about love, but she will learn, “relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.”

Netflix did not reveal any official date for XO Kitty release. So, we can assume it’s still in its early days of production.
