‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Is Not Ready to Leave Its Fans Heartbroken as Netflix Drops Exciting News About the Hottest Lawyer
August was quite an eventful, full month for Netflix viewers. On one hand, The Witcher saw Henry Cavill depart from the role of Geralt, with the add-on of garnering an underwhelming response. On the bright side, fans got to witness the intelligent and charming aura of LA’s hottest lawyer. The Lincoln Lawyer released its second season exactly a year after its first. In addition to the budding and steamy romance in the season, it was jam-packed with thrilling lawyer action.
Following the roaring success of the legal drama, Netflix dropped some fresh new amendments to its franchise.

Synonymous with LA’s hottest lawyer tag, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo gained worldwide fame with his on-screen character of Mickey Haller. Adding flavors from several legal dramas, season 2 saw the appreciation it deserved. Be it Better Call Saul’s crafty cases to Suits’ high-end lawyer fashion mixed with high-profile urban cases, David Buckley’s lawyer drama showed it all. In some exciting news for fans, Netflix Tudum announced the renewal of the series for a third season. Undoubtedly, Mickey Haller will be played by the same face we have come to know and love.
On the slate with ten upcoming episodes, the new season will be based on Michael Connelly’s fifth book in the series, The Gods of Guilt. The familiar faces of Lorna, Izzy, and Cisco will remain the same on the show, too. While the new updates have no fixed release dates, it could be either of two possibilities. Firstly, the patterns and trends indicate a yearly drop meaning season 3 could be up to maximum by this time next year. Secondly, the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes might have a bearing on the release dates.
Nevertheless, the stage is set for a more personal touch in the lawyer’s drama.

The first season crafted the enigmatic personal of the lawyer, giving us a whole crusty base of relationships and personal struggles. The second season topped it with a smoothened cheesy layer of newfound romances and an amazing professional standpoint. Moreover, it sent ripples at the end when Mickey Haller found his long-term friend dead at the end of the season.
Not only will we see a much more stable lawyer drama in terms of professional success, but also dive deep into the psyche of a lawyer suffering from a loss of a close friend. It is impressive how the character is made to deal with heavy external emotional pain after having battled his personal addiction problems.
