In a new post shared on Twitter by Anime TV, they revealed a new spring promotional visual that includes the main characters. The picture showed Kiyoka Kudou and Miyo Saimori walking as the leaves of the Sakura trees fall on them. Apart from this, the anime makers also gave away the names of the song artists. The opening theme song titled On Your Side has been performed by Lilia whereas the ending song is sung by Kashitarou Itou.

Anime fans might know that this anime has been praised for its traditional dressing-style depictions. Now this new visual which incarnates the female protagonist in a kimono is a wholesome moment for people.

Everything we know about the adaptation of the My Happy Marriage

After selling more than six million copies, My Happy Marriage finally got qualified for an adaptation. The charge of this beloved anime has been taken by Takehiro Kubota as director. Moreover, the voice actors in the series include Reina Ueda (Miyo Saimori) and Kaito Ishikawa {Kiyoka Kudou).

For the unversed, the series will follow the very Japanese version of a Cinderella story. Miyo is left alone after the death of her beloved mother. This young girl becomes a servant after her stepmother enters the household with her daughter Kaya. Meanwhile, fate continues to test her after she is arranged to be married to Kiyoka Kudou. A military captain is rumored to be a cruel man who has frightened away many young women before. From a loveless childhood to a terrifying marriage, viewers will soon get to watch how Miyo’s life will change after marriage.
