One of the most horrifying things that Stranger Things brought for the audiences is Upside Down. This mysterious alternative dimension has been the key factor in all problems characters faced to date. Although this realm is an exact reflection of Hawkins, it still has nothing in common. Flooded with sprawling mountain ranges, barren wasteland, and alien vines, this world of predators is something hard to escape once a person enters it. Since fans have already lost one of their beloved characters to it in the penultimate season of the show.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles heading into Stranger Things’ Upside Down 

IDW Publishing and Dark Horse Comics have planned an exciting crossover between TMNT and Stranger Things. ComicBook.com recently rolled out the exclusive look of this new series. The report revealed that the comic book series will depict the Hawkins gang in New York City. All the characters who scattered to different locations in season 4 will travel hundreds of miles away from their home again.

Eleven, Max, Dustin, Mike, Will, and Lucas will get to experience the newness of the city that never sleeps. However, as we know about their fate, the danger would follow them there too. And this is when they will make new allies who will enter the Upside Down to fight evil. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Stranger Things #1 will arrive in bookstores on 12 July.

Sadly, the fifth and final season of the horror drama is still halted because of the WGA strike. At this time, fans can only hope that things get resolved in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, for this crossover, many might be excited to see these worlds collide, but this is certainly not the first time we will be witnessing these brave characters in one frame.

Ninjas have already teamed up with the Hawkins gang

In July 2022, Playmates partnered with Netflix to create some of the most amazing action figures. From this, they launched a limited edition action figure collection. This included the monster-hunting heroes of Hawkins and pizza-loving crime fighters from NYC. It was something like the school project that Eleven created for her dad, but indeed a better version.

The first two pairings were Leonardo with Eleven and Raphael with Hopper, each comes in a 6-inch size along with other accessories. It is possible that the publication got inspired by these toys and decided to make a comic book on it.
