The anticipation surrounding The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep has been growing at an intense edge within people’s minds. At its Geeked Week event, Netflix announced The Witcher spin-off, an anime film that will pick up the pieces from the first seasons of the show. The prospect of this expansion had raised expectations regarding Henry Cavill picking up the voice for Geralt of Rivia. Yet, it seems that an individual associated with The Witcher games franchise has embraced this reprisal.

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is adapted from Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story, A Little Sacrifice. A Little Sacrifice does not feature the core characters like Ciri or Yennefer. Although it does highlight the Geralt of Rivia, the voice of which neither Henry Cavill nor Liam Hemsworth are assuming. According to the giant streamer’s revelation, the one to pick up the sword of Geralt in the anime film is none other than Doug Cockle. The announcement, along with a trailer, has effectively dropped fans at the ninth sky.

The fantasy fiction film is rooted in the labyrinth of magic, fiend quest, and above all, in a shroud of mystery. Furthermore, picking up the story from The Little Sacrifice, the anime will focus on Essi Daven, a troubadour. Decoding the anime would perhaps be more efficient if one reads the two prequels that lay the foundation for the story: The Last Wish and Season of Storms.
