2023 unfolded some massive royal highlights from the UK Monarchy. While Prince Harry’s Spare marked the initial days in January, the speculations and backlashes that followed marked the rest. With all the big and small events in regard to the coronation, the developments in the royal family have become more interesting than ever. However, things are no more than just words on the street. Taking things into his own hands, King Charles is all for a total renaissance in the UK Monarchy. Britain’s one of the oldest institutions which has long lost its vigor and pride in the quagmire of controversies that is to rise up again. 

As reported by Standard, following the coronation, the King along with the Queen Consort by his side will plan to tackle the big and small inefficiencies in the monarchy. The Palace, which now has a tag of being “over-staffed and outdated,” will soon be changing as Queen Elizabeth’s eldest wears the crown. In fact, to commence the entire process with a proper framework, the King has also started assigning roles to the staff members accordingly. 

Vice-Admiral, who also happens to be the Master of the royal household and Keeper of the Privy Purse, who looks after the finance sector, will execute the supposed shake-up in The Firm. More roles and their details will be coming in soon. It is even reported that Queen Camilla will herself supervise over each and every minute detail of the forthcoming changes. The outlet read that soon after the Kingdom is done with the coronation, she will be ensuring that the royal household runs the “Clarence House way.”

Speaking of the groundbreaking force of change, sources said the Frogmore Eviction was just the “tip of the iceberg” of what lies ahead. The officials made it clear that the eviction notice was long given to the Duke days after Spare’s immediate publication. However, this was done to execute some important financial goals rather than as a counterattack on the Sussexes as the world thinks. 

The King has plans to reduce the number of royals who are financially dependent on the crown, especially if they do not have an active role to play. There will be staff cut-offs to add maximum value to those with payrolls. “And that has already started,” affirmed the source. Keeping it as polite as they could, officials even stated that estranged and extended members of the royal family with no affiliations to the monarchy “should fund themselves.”
