Netflix has officially shared the look of Texas Chainsaw Massacre by David Blue Garcia, an upcoming massacre film after fifty years. This film is the sequel of the 1974 flick The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Netflix film is the ninth installment of Chainsaw Massacre franchise, but still gives us the same chills as the first film.

Who is in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s cast?

Since this film is the sequel of 1974’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, we can expect to see some old and new faces. The cast includes Mark Burham, Elsie Fisher, Sarah Yarkin, Jacob Latimore, Nell Hudson, Moe Dunford, Alice Krige, Jessica Allain, Sam Douglas, William Hope, and Jolyon Coy. Moreover, Olwen Fouéré will return as Sally Hardesty, the only survivor in the original film along with John Larroquette as the narrator of the film.

What is the plot of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

After destroying the Hardesty family, no one ever heard of Leatherface again.

Meanwhile, another young family, Melody and her sister Sara, and their friends Dante and Ruth, move to Harlow, Texas to build a business together. But unknowingly, they disrupt Leatherface’s life by invading his property. With renewed bloodlust, Leatherface is all set to go on a killing spree and bathe the small town of Harlow in blood.

Sally Hardesty, the only survivor of the Hardesty family massacre, remains haunted by the horrors of her family’s murder. When the serial killer is on his prowl again, Sally has a chance to get revenge from Leatherface for her family’s death.
