No one does horror quite like the Duffer Brothers. Recently, the filmmakers have taken on another Netflix horror drama. The show, titled Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen, will see the Duffers as executive producers, who will produce the show through their Upside Down Pictures. Additionally, Haley Z. Boston will serve as both executive producer and showrunner of the project. "We were knocked flat when we first read Haley’s script," said the Stranger Things showrunners in a statement.
Currently, the Duffer Brothers have their hands full filming the final season of Stranger Things, along with juggling some other upcoming projects on Netflix, including The Boroughs and a live-action adaptation of Death Note. But nothing is more important than the movie-like season finale of Stranger Things 5. While the Brothers have debunked some rumors and speculations here and there, the final season is still mystery-wrapped, with one of the most tantalizing questions being who will bite the dust at the end.
Some recent behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets have hinted at who will meet their end by the time Stranger Things ends.

A few set pictures from the Stranger Things season finale surfaced on X recently. They showed the Hawkins group apparently hatching plans to take down Vecna. However, there was an eerie and hard-to-miss detail in the pictures. Will Byers seemed to be drifting away from the Hawkins boys. This made the entire Stranger Things fandom anxious. Fans feared that Will Byers was the most vulnerable character in the final season and could be the one to meet his end.
Considering that both the showrunners and actor Noah Schnapp himself have hinted that Will would play a crucial role in the final season, this speculation is not entirely baseless. Nonetheless, the excitement remains high about how the Duffer Brothers will deliver the perfect ending for a show that has held its audience's attention for nearly a decade, before bringing more frights to Netflix.
