However, if there were an opportunity for additional seasons, Elizabeth Debicki would likely decline, feeling that the show concluded as it should.

Elizabeth Debicki, who played Princess Diana in the final two seasons of The Crown, recently explained why she prefers not to see any future expansions of the show's legacy after its conclusion.

While the series finale evoked a range of emotions from fans after a seven-year journey, Debicki is pleased with how Morgan concluded the story, calling his work “amazing.” Although she did not prefer the term “journey,” she acknowledged it was indeed one for viewers to experience. Citing the commitment of fans over six seasons, she feels it was important for the showrunners and actors to bring the story to a satisfying close and that is exactly what The Crown did.
