As announced earlier, Netflix is to drop the last season of what it boasts as its best franchise in terms of fame and popularity in the year 2024. Season 4 undoubtedly left the fans stuck on a cliffhanger. Starting from Max going into a coma to Eddie’s gut-punching death, only the fans know how hard they have wept. Hyping up the fans, even more, a parody account of the American Streaming giant recently dropped a poster featuring our favorite. The same has apparently created a stir in the crowd who were not sure if Eddie’s return for Stranger Things 5. Many claimed him to be the single-episode superstar of the franchise. Nevertheless, coming back from the wrath of Vecna is something all of us find hard to imagine.

However, we should start by acknowledging that death in Stranger Things is if anything else, a very relative thing. Especially, when we are talking about a fan-favorite like Eddie Munson. According to fans who have thoroughly analyzed the latest poster, there are a number of possibilities that we can touch upon. Twitter is currently receiving mixed reactions of surprise, disbelief, grief, and love for the recently-released giveaway.

The poster shows our greatest superhero crawling back to life with his iconic metal guitar held high above him. While some fans could not bring themselves to believe it, others pointed it out as “Fake news”. Some have expressed his dire wish for this to become true. However, the majority of them were taken back in shock, reacting with a, “wait what” while they processed what they had just seen. 

Some fans who have strictly adhered to official predictions have given a reality check saying, “GUYS, THIS IS A FAN ACCOUNT“. A bunch of others suspects the same was a kind of mega-spoiler for the upcoming final battle between good and evil.
