franchises like Hunger Games and X-Men. While her role as the shape-shifting
mutant Mystique in the X-Men film series brought her enormous stardom. She is

The 32-year-old star was the second artist to play the role of Mystique under
director Bryan Singer. She reprised in X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), X-Men:
Apocalypse (2016), and Dark Phoenix (2019). Although this popular role has not

Don’t Look Up star opened up about the time when she worked with Bryan Singer.



In the interview, the Oscar winner stated that she feels more comfortable
working with female directors instead of male filmmakers. Moving forward to the
toxic masculinity, she mentioned Singer, who has been condemned several times
for his out of the lines action over the years.
