There are some things in life that you know were just made for each other. Food items, sports and athletes, musicians, and in that list there are also actors and directors. There are certain director-actor duos that just bring out the best in each other. Similar is the case for The Adam Project duo Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds. They have so far worked together on two different projects and both of them have turned out to be absolutely beautiful. Hence, it makes sense to continue using the winning formula and capitalize on the fabulous partnership of Ryan and Shawn.
The Adam Project was the second movie collaboration between Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy. Before this, we saw them team up for Free Guy on Amazon. And now we will get to see the brilliance of this duo on screen in a movie that is bigger than both the previous projects. Shawn Levy will now direct Deadpool 3, and yes, we too are really excited about this! Here is what we know so far.
The Adam Project director Shawn Levy joins Deadpool 3
We have been waiting for Deadpool 3 for a couple of years now. And even though we always hear a rumor or two about it, getting some official update about the same was something that really made us happy. And we are particularly happy about this appointment because Levy perfectly matches the style and feel of Ryan Reynolds, as he has worked with him on two different projects.
Secondly, The Adam Project and Free Guy were both kind of around the same theme of sci-fi, which is, in fact, an integral part of any superhero movie. So we are absolutely sure that Shawn is going to do an amazing job with Ryan on Deadpool 3. Well, we are guessing this was the reason to add that Deadpool Easter egg in the movie as well.
Additionally, Ryan Reynolds seems thrilled with the thought of working with Shawn Levy again. “The third film in my Shawn Levy trilogy will be a tad more stabby,” wrote Reynolds, along with a picture of all the three characters in the exact location where his ship crashed in The Adam Project.
Are you excited about this? Because we definitely are.
