Giving their vote to this manga series, many people expressed their desire to watch this show on a small screen. Finally, putting people’s wishes into action, Bibury Animation Studios is bringing this widely popular story as a television anime.

With over one million copies in circulation, the 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You is now getting to a bigger platform. According to Crunchyroll, the anime adaptation of the Japanese harem is scheduled for release in 2023.

Moreover, the director of Dropkick on My Devil Hikaru Sato is helming the project alongside Takashi Aoshima. As for the cast, Wataru Katou will be lending his voice to the protagonist Rentaro Ajio. Hakari Hanazono will be voiced by Kaede Hondo and Miyu Tomita will give a voiceover to Karane Ida.

Meanwhile, Akane Yano, who previously worked on The Ryuo’s Work Is Never Done, is in charge of character design.

The 100 Girlfriends anime will focus on a high school student and tells the official synopsis by Seven Seas Entertainment. In this romantic comedy, viewers will see how Rentaro approaches 100 girls for a date and gets rejected by everyone. While praying in a shrine, he gets to know that these rejections are some kind of cosmic error.

But the God of Love corrects this error by giving Aijo one hundred true soulmates in this lifetime. However, the twist here is that the protagonist needs to fall in love with every single one of them, otherwise they would die a brutal death. So the viewers will soon find out how Ajio will handle all these proposals and date so many women at one time. Well, as for now we might not know what turn this absurd turn of events will take but we are assured this is going to bring a lot of laughter for fans.
