Millie Bobby Brown and her career have only gone uphill ever since she smashed the charts with Netflix’s superhit Stranger Things. The star received innumerable accolades and awards for her brilliant acting as Eleven, the heart of the show. One of her many recognitions was when Time’s Magazine added her to their 2018 list of 100 Most Influential People.
Millie Bobby Brown became the youngest entrant on the list in 2018. Owing to the same, The One Show with Mark interviewed the then 15-year-old during which she shared how she felt about being on the list.

English physicist professor Brian Cox accompanied the star in the BBC interview in 2019 while they discussed how Millie and her family reacted to the good news. The host, Mark, asked Brown about how it felt to be recognized as one of the Most Influential People in the World by Times at such an early age. Answering the same, Brown expressed her parents did not seem to believe it. She mimicked the way her parents were shocked to hear the news.
As for her part, Millie confessed, “It was one of those things…unreal and unbelievable.” The star later admitted how she always wanted to influence positivity but never really expected anything out of it. She never thought she would be “recognized in that respect.” Hence, this came as a huge shock to the star who was just at the starting line of her career.
The Stranger Things star also recalled how she felt getting the honor alongside Oprah Winfrey, who is an icon in the industry for the work, leaving a recognizable footprint in the entertainment world with her various initiatives. So, Millie at first did not believe they had gotten it right. According to her own words, she could not bring herself to believe the fact that they had invited her.
At present, Millie is focused on her beauty brand, Florence by Mills, while juggling between her filming projects. She will return to our Netflix screens with Enola Holmes 2 in an empowering image like never before.
