In the 2019 video, Ryan Reynolds made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his movie Pokemon: Detective Pikachu. During the show, the two veterans played a game called Spit Take Roulette, which was both fun and gross. All they had to do was pick up a glass from 12 cups placed on the table in front of them and spit it out.

As many as five cups had water in them, while the other cups were filled with liquids like gin, apple juice, ginger ale, pickle juice, and Tang. The rules of the game were pretty simple. If there was water in the cup, the participant has to spit it out on the other person’s face. However, if it was any other substance, he needed to swallow it. 

Who was the winner of the fun battle?

The person who spits three cups of water first was the winner. Being the host, Jimmy Fallon took the advantage of going first. Luckily, he got the water and Ryan Reynolds became the first victim. The host also managed to win the contest. It was a fun game as the viewers enjoyed the H2O assault between Reynolds and Fallon.

It was quite a unique way of promotion as the video caused a lot of hype on social media. Notably, Ryan’s Pokemon: Detective Pikachu was a massive hit with a worldwide collection of $433 million.
