Ye then went on to say how Beyonce was the one who actually deserved the award
for All The Single Ladies. While Swift was clearly stunned, people around were
unsure if it was a planned incident or a stunt. Lautner himself thought that it
was part of a skit and chuckled. But when the singer turned around and the
Cuckoo actor saw the expression on her face, he realized that it was not
scripted.

The news of him and Taylor dating was still fresh when it all happened. While
Beyonce actually won the Artist of The Year, she let the Shake it Off singer
finish her speech. Ye also apologized through an interview afterwards. As for
Lautner and Swift, they broke up and he is happily married now. But that one
incident clearly stayed with him.
