Speaking in an interview with Comicbook.com, Taron Egerton revealed his two cents on Jason Bateman's intense performance in their latest film, Carry-On. Agreeing to host Chris Killian, Egerton weighed in on how Bateman turned into a "complete psycho" in the film, only to do justice to his part. Having praised his dedication to the character, the star went on to reveal some Bateman-special tactics that helped him ace his scenes.
Concurring with how dangerous Bateman felt on screen while trying to do justice to his character, Egerton revealed how “He is so cold and dead-eyed in it," and that apparently worked as the little special secret that worked wonders. Nevertheless, despite his intense dedication, Egerton revealed he is a really 'very lovely' and friendly person to work with.

Taken aback by his "extraordinary" antiques as the bad guy, in contrast to his usual comedic roles, Carson gushed about the state. His character, the Traveler, is a mysterious man at LAX who makes a threatening call to TSA agent Ethan Kopek.

The Traveler demands Ethan let a passenger, Mateo, through security without inspecting his luggage. If Ethan refuses, the Traveler is ser to kill his pregnant girlfriend Nora. Bateman's character is "not a typical sleek villain," as said by his co-star, Carson, underscoring the actor's versatility throughout his career reflected in the movie's record-breaking feat.
