The Berlin Film Festival of 2023 is not just about films this year, but it has upgraded itself by making some new introductions. One of their newest additions to the festival was the award for best TV series. Because the world has shifted toward TV series and OTT, Berlinale decided to institute this award to recognize creators everywhere, which included America’s rising talents Sydney Sweeney and Sadie Sink.
One more thing that was new to the Berlin Festival this year was its partnership with Armani Beauty, which the beauty brand celebrated by throwing a dinner for around 100 people. The dinner was conducted inside a former communications bunker that has been converted into a private art gallery. In attendance at the grand dinner were Euphoria fame Sydney Sweeney and Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink.

There were two main reasons for Sweeney’s appearance at this festival. The first was Armani, because, in January this year, the Euphoria actress announced her partnership with Armani Fragrance and shot a campaign for them, the photographs of which recently came out.
And the second major reason for the 25-year-old actress to be there was the premiere of her film Reality, which is based on the life of NSA whistleblower Reality Winner. While she was at the premiere, she spoke about how she was feeling about attending one of the most precious film festivals in the world.
Meanwhile, Sink would be staying back in Berlin after the dinner since she feels a sense of freedom in the city, reports WWD. Apart from Sweeney and Sink, there were other important people who attended this exclusive dinner.

The ambassadors of Armani beauty, Barbara Palvin and Madisin Rian, were at the dinner. Marie Antoinette (2022) fame actress Emilia Schüle, Toni Garrn, and Honor Swinton Byrne were also present at the dinner. Florence Kasumba, who is famous for appearing in the series Game of Thrones, also attended the dinner.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Everything Sucks actress said that she was nervous as it was a big moment for her as her film premiered at the Berlinale. However, she further added that she always gets nervous and was nervous in a good way. She also revealed that her great-grandfather was from Germany and her mother and her younger brother Trent also got the chance to look for the place her great-grandfather used to live.
Sweeney got major appreciation from the critics for her film Reality. However, the commercial release date of the film has not been revealed by the makers yet.
