Summer Flashback: Back When ‘The Witcher’ Actress Anna Shaffer Unveiled Her Sezane Essentials on Instagram
The Witcherverse has seen the rise of many prime-time characters and Triss Merigold, depicted by Anna Shaffer, is one among them. The red-haired sorceress, who takes major inspiration from the 1960s couture statements, also has an active presence on social media, especially Instagram. Although the inspiration may be vintage, her styling makes it more of a modern-day tale, and the same could be seen in one of her summer throwback posts in partnership with Sezane.
Even with winter’s onboarding, Anna Shaffer’s post from the sunlit days in Sezane’s clothing is still giving out heatwaves.

Even though the days have grown shorter, Anna Shaffer’s pictures from summers are still vouching for some warmth. While promoting Shaffer’s collaboration with the French line clothing brand, Sezane, she once posted a thread of images on Instagram back in September. Donning a white bikini with a green solid shirt atop, Shaffer pulled off a color-block statement like never before.
She captioned the post “summer in @sezane #sezane” while radiating her retro-chic factor. The Witcher star was seen enjoying the beachy waves amidst the tropical season. She also paired her Sezane essentials with a crochet bag rocking the no make-up makeup look as she was seen strutting the islands of the shore. Her minimalist attire also had an additional score of simple pieces of jewelry to complete her look.
Although Shaffer’s old-school fashion and inspiration are known to all, here is a less-known fact about the English actress’s on-screen avatar on The Witcher.

Triss Merigold, being among one of the most powerful members of the Lodge has the special capability of brewing potions. While her expertise lies in cure and healing, the character has a unique allergy. Ironically, the fiery-haired sorceress is allergic to any kind of magical rehabilitation or treatment. As per the book, the healing potions are of no use to her despite her proficiency in the area.
As a result, the mage has failed several times in fighting back. Furthermore, her tenderness, which is showcased in the series, is very much the opposite of her portrayal in the book. In the book, she has more of a cunning depiction. But even though the portrayal might be a little redundant in the reel world, her lifestyle and fashion statements, in reality, are very much outspoken and larger than life.
