Although this standpoint of the audience seems to be quite impossible because we have seen that Eleven and Mike are inseparable. Yet many are not ready to renounce hope in the unrequited love of the Byers boy.

Last year, Stranger Things star Brett Gelman responded to the whole Byler hype taking over the internet. Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote on his account that he is ready to ship Byler together. But only if Mike is interested in Will. Moreover, he also cleared that he does not support this Byler tag because it is only going to hurt Will. It is clearly visible that Mike does not see him as more than just a friend, and Eleven is his first and probably last love.
