While we have usually heard from actors finding it hard bidding goodbye to shows that they worked in for years, it sounds like a different thing entirely to do the same to a series in which the cast grew up working. We have seen the cast of Stranger Things go from little 10 to 12-year-olds in season 1 to actual adults in the upcoming one. While a lot of others might already have been working on coming to terms with the same, co-stars Noah Schnapp and Millie Bobby Brown refuse to accept this fact.
Noah Schnapp on growing up and subsequently bidding goodbye to Stranger Things
We will soon be seeing season 4 of Stranger Things. This season will be the one that fans cling to as they await the finale. The penultimate season might be twice the size of any season before, but that fact offers only a little respite. From 2015 to 2022, the cast has spent 7 years of their lives already on the sets of Stranger Things. Add to this the fact that they are but a group of teenagers and you begin wondering how the series ending would affect them personally.
Will Byers actor Noah Schnapp has commented on the same. Upon being asked how he felt about “entering the endgame“, Schnapp’s response was something that reminds one of teenagers graduating from high school.
Although the actor’s first response said that they “reject to accept” the fact that the Netflix series will meet its end very soon, his words later on prove contradictory. They show fans a person who has accepted things, but fears the actual experience.
Just as all coworkers and groups of friends who might not be together in the near future say, Noah Schnapp said that the group “will always be in each other’s lives and always keep in touch“. He even went on to talk about the effect the Netflix Original will have on their lives, saying that “this show will always have a very important stamp on all of their lives.” While we’re not sure if that will happen for the entire cast, we know that Noah Schnapp and Millie Bobby Brown are closer than others and hence might stay in touch for a longer period.
Stranger Things season 4 will appear on Netflix on May 27, 2022.
