David Harbour, who has played a key role on the show, attended the ice hockey match between The Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. A clip featuring him on the display screen at the ice hockey match surfaced on the web. His shaved head look hinted at the show being back to filming its final season. Notably, Harbour sported a shaved head in the previous season during his time in the Russian prison.
In the fourth season’s finale as well, Harbour maintained the same bald look while confronting the impending doom brought on by Vecna. The final season is most likely to pick up right where it left off, with the actor maintaining his bald look. This news surfaced a few days after Harbour crushed the hope of Stranger Things’ expansion following the final season.
During an interview at the Motorcycle Comic Con event, he talked about the final season and the nature of its conclusion. He also talked about the potential spin-off that fans have been hoping for.

The Stranger Things fandom is just not ready to bid farewell to the franchise that has given the world superstars like Millie Bobby Brown. However, it has long been made clear that with the fifth season, the franchise will mark its end. However, despite the clear statement from the makers, fans kept their hopes up for a possible spin-off in the future. David Harbour, in his interview, reassured them that the fifth season will end the franchise “in a real way”.
He also mentioned, however, that the spin-off of the franchise is in production, even though it will not be an expansion of Stranger Things’ storyline. Additionally, even Finn Wolfhard shared pitching an idea to the Duffer Brothers about a spin-off. While there are too many talks about spin-offs and animated series, the ending of this buzz-worthy series would still be a hard pill to swallow for fans, which now seems to be back in production.
