‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Would Make This One Major Problem of Season 4 More Obvious and Inevitable
Words fall short when fans sit down to talk about Stranger Things Season 4. It was simply the most impactful and spine-chilling season of the show. The level of darkness and gore spread across several locations with some incredible visual effects was something unexpected. Those nine episodes filled with emotions, terror, complex plans, and great action sequences truly thrilled the audience while dropping major cliffhangers for the last season.
Now that season 5 has been halted, fans have all the time in the world to showcase their creativity. However, this thing makes it inevitable to not think about this widely noticed problem of season 4, which the final season would make even much bigger.

We all know that Season 4 took a three-year break because of the pandemic. So when the season came out actors in the show were much grown which was quite visible. Fans instantly noticed this and shared their views about it on social media. Many mocked that the characters need to be younger because according to the story only months passed after season three.
In fact, the Avatar director James Cameron named it ‘Stranger Things Effect’ to avoid becoming like their franchise. And now when the shooting of the fifth and final season has been postponed, it has become more clear that Duffer Brothers would not be able to hide this thing. Though the team tried to justify this thing through a video just two days back, cast members will still be a couple of years older when season 5 comes out.
For instance, Millie Bobby Brown is 19 and Finn Wolfhard is 20 now, so it certainly will be hard for them to look like teenagers. And this problem would only be under control if the creators wrap up shooting by the end of 2024.

In May, the writers’ room of the horror drama put their pens down to support their community. Duffer Brothers decided that the filming of the final season will not begin until the writers meet their demands. However, now it seems this might cost them huge in terms of the characters who are just high schoolers. It remains unclear when the strike will end because SAG-AFTRA has also joined them.
This makes it much more difficult for season 5 to wrap up in time. Not to mention, the creators have neither set any release date nor any hints about it which makes fans more worried. According to the assumptions made by the people, season 5 will come out in 2025.
