Stranger Things season 5 is halfway through filming. However, they have already released major spoilers through their famous behind-the-scenes snippets. Ever since the filming of the fifth and final season began, several pictures from the sets have surfaced on social media, sometimes through insider leaks and other times by the creators, the Duffer Brothers, themselves. Yet, it appears the juiciest, spoiler-rich scenes are still waiting in the wings.

If snippets from these scenes also make their way into the public eye, fans might get a chance to uncover the biggest spoiler of Stranger Things 5, months before the show hits the small screens.

The Stranger Things season 5 cast has reportedly been filming with the military for quite some time now. And according to Stranger Things Updates, the next set is going to be an Upside Down church, where the filming will commence soon. The X page also informed that scenes on this set will have some jaw-dropping revelations, writing, "Remember that on this set they are going to film scenes with spoilers". Last month, the same page shared more behind-the-scenes shots of the church shrouded in the infamous vines.

There is a chance the church could act as the backdrop for a funeral scene or a flashback to the 1950s, given the time jump that season 5 will reportedly explore. The church in question was established in 1897. According to the lore, it was used for a service following the earthquake of 1986- the event that wrapped up season 4- and likely hosted Chrissy Cunningham's funeral as well. These new church shots came right on the heels of two recent set spoilers from Stranger Things season 5.

How Much Will 'Stranger Things' Cast Make For Season 5?

The makers have hinted at two characters, who are either going to meet their end in season 5 or are going to be severely harmed.

Earlier this month, some hospital documents from the Stranger Things set were leaked online, and fans quickly started piecing together the clues from the leak. According to the documents, Karen Wheeler will be severely injured in season 5, with cuts and bruises on her neck, chest, shoulder, and abdomen, along with a risk of infection. Her injuries would be the work of a Demogorgon, as was mentioned in the medical report itself. However, that was not all.

There have also been some behind-the-scenes hints about the fate of Will Byers in season 5. While it is no secret that Will would play a much more significant role in the final battle, the shots from the sets that showed him drifting apart from the Hawkins gang gave off a feeling that he might make the ultimate sacrifice to save the world from Vecna. Now that filming at the church is about to kick off, who knows what more secrets and Easter eggs are lying in wait for fans to uncover.
