‘Stranger Things’ Joe Keery Drops One Major Hint About His Fan Favorite Character in Season 5
Netflix is ready to reopen the portal into the nostalgia of ’80s sci-fi and demogorgons with Stranger Things heading towards the fifth season of its hit show. Meanwhile, fans are jumping at the prospect of seeing their favorite characters’ arc coming to a culmination as the show concludes. Among them is the quintessential cool cat of Hawkins and former Scoops Ahoy employee, Steve Harrington, portrayed by Joe Keery. In an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon recently, Keery shed light on the ongoing events on the Stranger Things sets. It begins filming around New Year and he had seen his script for it too. When the host asked him if his character who “gets beaten up” a lot would get in another scuffle in season 5, Keery confessed that the “odds” certainly are in favor of this happening.
While the audience erupted in laughter, fans were left wondering if their dear Steve would have to suffer another injustice. Well, the Free Guy did point in the direction of the next season being rather explosive too. As Fallon requested him to “sum up” season 5 in “one expression”, he put on a bewildered, yet amazed look. This revelation is also in keeping with fans’ theories so far.

With a plot that has kept everybody on its toes, Stranger Things has managed to keep fans buzzing with excitement throughout its four-season run. However, the final season is expected to pull away the curtain on all the mysteries shrouding the Upside Down. The showrunners have also revealed that Will Byers will take away the spotlight from Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven.
Additionally, the cause of the entire unseemlingly series of events since its beginning will be revealed too. Since the Duffer Brothers have also refuted the theory that it was all just a dream, the foray remains open to theories that explain the conception of the Upside Down. Judging by the theories and Keery’s recent comments, it is bound to be a shocking ending.
