Stranger Things has been the go-to for all things eerie and supernatural, blurring the lines between the ordinary and the extraordinary. And with the cast and crew pushing hard to wrap up the story in a jaw-dropping finale, the hype for the last season is through the roof. Although the wait is not quite over yet, with Halloween creeping closer, the Duffer Brothers have cooked up something special with a movie screening of the four films that inspired Stranger Things.

So, for those looking to make Halloween week extra spooky and totally Stranger Things-coded, here is everything to know.

Netflix recently dropped the news about a killer Halloween event, Netflix & Chills. This month, they are throwing a special screening to celebrate Stranger Things fans where viewers will be treated to four films that inspired the series—Ghostbusters, The Thing, The Shining, and Poltergeist—all handpicked by the Duffer Brothers. The event will go down at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, starting October 15 and fans can snag their tickets on the Egyptian Theatre website.

On October 15, Ghostbusters and The Thing will haunt the screen at 1:00 PM and 7:30 PM, and at 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, respectively. The terror continues on October 16 with The Shining and Poltergeist at the same eerie times. But the real fright fest happens on Halloween night, October 31, with a special fan event that ends with a scream-worthy screening of Stranger Things' season 2 Halloween episode.
