The Duffer brothers have repeatedly kept their audience on their toes with their one-of-a-kind promotions. Some time ago, Ross Duffer also revealed some behind-the-scenes content from the pre-production sets. However, now, his recent story on Instagram hints that the creator is taking leave from the crux of the Stranger Things backdrop, Atlanta. To keep the air clear, one of his next stories unveiled that the creators might be taking leave for the holiday season and will be back sooner than anticipated.
In his story, there is a sign-board cueing at “Hellfire Way” captioned with “Goodbye ATL…”. Stranger Things delved deep into the chronicling of the 80s classics with the inception of the Hellfire Club. The members of the club were mostly outsiders, including Eddie Munson, Dustin, Mike, and Lucas. While Munson’s retreat to the club seems bleak given his death, there is hope that the club will revive once the vacation spirit lowers down.
Given that the team is now turning homebound, leaning on the holidays, the possible comeback will adhere to the recently revealed filming schedule.

Even though the Duffer brothers and the team are taking their holiday breaks, their filming resumption has a timeline now. As per the Deadline’s report, the shooting for season 5 will begin on January 5th or 8th. The fifth installment will draw an ending to the saga of the Upside Down shedding light on the lingering questions that were unanswered in the fourth season.
Per the timeline, the series would perhaps witness an early 2025 release between February and April. Given Ross Duffer’s recent story already put the limelight on one of the names being in scratches from the cast list, there might be an upsurge of fan theories. Although the road seems rather long, the reprise of the favorite characters might make up for it. As the fifth season will finally loosen its grip on the cliffhangers of the last season, we might say that the wait would be worth it.
