How did Squid Game end?

After the infamous Glass Stepping Stones game, we had three very predictable finalists. They were Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), Kang Sae-byeok (Jung Ho-yeon), and Cho Sang-woo (Park Hae-soo). As much as fans wanted her to survive, Sae-byeok ended up in the fancy coffin.
The title of the winner and the 456 billion won were lying between Gi-hun and Sang-woo now. As expected, Gi-hun wins and takes the money home. He’s miserable at first but eventually gets himself together. While he seems to be living a happy life after some time, he runs into the man who beat him at the slap game, yet again. While Gi-hun doesn’t catch hold of the man, he finds his way to the games again. However, this time around, he isn’t there to win. He is determined to destroy them.
What will we see in Squid Game season 2?
Fans of the Netflix series are filled with suspense to the brim as they await the release of Squid Game season 2. Not only did the series leave them at a cliffhanger, but they also had many other questions that seemed to be left untouched. An essential one among these was the backstory of the Front Man.
While his younger brother was a vigilant and dedicated cop, the older was running a game that killed hundreds solely for entertainment. How did the two end up in such drastically different positions?

Considering the policeman, Hwang Jun-ho’s popularity, director Hwang Dong-hyuk was more inclined than ever to ensure he delves into this plotline in season 2. Hence, he confirmed that both Gi-hun and the Front Man will be back in Squid Game season 2.
