Sony Pictures’ Screen Gems, ever the enabler of stylish carnage, shall usher Sisu’s sequel into theatres on November 21, 2025. The original, directed by Jalmari Helander and soaked in more grit than dialogue, clawed its way to over $14 million worldwide. That sum, though humble by blockbuster standards, was enough to earn a sequel, and more importantly, to terrify anyone holding gold. One assumes the new installment will offer less chatter and more choreography involving sharp objects.

While plot details for the Sisu sequel remain under tight wraps, the original film, set in 1944, followed Aatami Korpi (Jorma Tommila), a Finnish prospector who found himself at odds with a group of Nazis fleeing through the snow-covered Finnish wilderness.
