Sia recently turned to Twitter to express her excitement after watching Miriam Margolyes: Almost Australian and Beef. “Ok! @Netflix run, don’t walk, to watch Almost Australian and BEEF. Spectacular stuff!” she wrote. Moreover, she recommended millions of fans through her account to watch these shows right away. Released in 2020, the three-part documentary focused on the 78-year-old Jewish lesbian who sets out on a journey, 10,000km odyssey across “the Lucky Country”. It depicted Margolyes hitting the road in order to find the current state of the Australian Dream.

Just like the audience, the ‘Chandelier’ singer found this series insightful, empathetic, and hilarious. Moreover, the majority of the people loved it because of Miriam’s brutally frank interviewing style. On the other hand, Beef is a dark comedy-drama starring stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong as Danny Cho and Amy Lau.

The 10-episode series depicts how these two people pit against each other following their involvement in a road rage incident. This show has created a lot of buzz on the internet for its intense story of nuanced and complex Asian American characters.
