<p>After a fair share of emotional moments and kind of confusing science fiction with The Adam Project, it finally seems like Netflix is ready to change the vibe. And it officially changed the mood for the month of May to action with the confirmed release of a sequel to a much-celebrated French movie, <em>De l’autre côté du périph, </em>otherwise known as <em>On the Other Side of the Tracks. </em>Yes, the 2012 movie is finally getting a sequel titled <em>The Takedown</em>. Netflix misses no chances to serve its audience with the absolute best content, and this is just a continuation of the ritual.</p>
<p>Just like every year, Netflix dropped a list of original titles that will come out in 2022. And in that list was the much-anticipated title The Takedown. The movie brings together the interesting duo of Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte. And it indeed looks like an amazing experience. <p>It all starts off as a regular team-up of two police officers to solve a case before things take shape. Ousmane Diakité and François Monge are two police officers who come from unique backgrounds and have distinctive styles of work. Their reunion is arranged in order to investigate a crime. However, what looked like a simple case is not exactly that simple, and things soon take a gory turn. They now find themselves in rather deep trouble than they expected in the first place.</p>
<p>What follows is an utterly amazing adventure, of which we will all be a part of when we watch <em>The Takedown</em> on Netflix.</p>
